The YMC panels are used to print onto the front of the card, while the black resin (K) panel and the inhibitor (I) panel can be used on both the front and back of the card. The inhibitor (I) panel allows cards with surface foils or signature panels on the rear to be printed by stopping the retransfer film from adhering to those areas.
